The
IDEA Pension House and Garden Café, Jagna is owned and operated by
the International Deaf Education Association, Philippines. Most of
the employees in this small business are deaf. The foundation known
as IDEA Philippines uses profits from this small business to help
underwrite the education and housing costs of nearly 280 deaf
children schooling on Bohol.
Our pension house is located just across the street from the Jagna
Central Elementary School where IDEA Philippines sponsors nearly 60
deaf children. IDEA Philippines operates a dormitory for these
students about 1/3 kilometer from the pension house. You are welcome
to visit these facilities and see first hand the work of IDEA
Philippines. |
